Evening Snowshoe Hike and Basecamp Experience - Incl. Transfer from Tromsø
This tour includes a transfer from and back to Tromsø city center. Please meet up 15 minutes before the start of your activity at the meeting point.
Your evening adventure begins with a comfortable transfer from Tromsø city centre to a location on the island of Kvaløya only a short and scenic drive away. When you arrive at the starting point, your guide will welcome you and provide snowshoes, poles, and a headlamp to prepare you for the night’s Arctic experience. Snowshoeing is easy to learn, and your experienced local guide will ensure a safe and enjoyable hike.
Together, we'll head into the peaceful backcountry, gaining a bit of elevation to escape light pollution and take in breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and fjords. If the weather is on our side, this will be the perfect place to capture that magical Northern Lights moment. Our guides are experienced photographers and will happily help you with camera settings and tips to get the best possible shot.
On snowshoes, we'll continue towards our basecamp, where we’ll spend the rest of the evening gathered around a cozy campfire to enjoy stories and learn more about life in the North. After a memorable night under the Arctic sky, you'll be heading back by bus to the city center of Tromsø.
