Arctic Fjord Cruise from Tromsø

This tour is operated by Rødne Fjord Cruise.

Step aboard our high-speed, comfortable catamaran, and join us on a journey around Tromsøya, the main island on which the Arctic city is built.

Get captivated by the stunning landscapes and panoramas, views of snow-covered mountains, picturesque villages, and the possibility of encountering Arctic wildlife as we sail along the coastline and into the fjords.

As we navigate through the fjords, our guides will take you on a journey through history, and explain the social and meteorological influences that have shaped this Arctic region: Discover why Tromsø is often referred to as the "Paris of the North", learn fascinating anecdotes about its rich cultural heritage, the regions important positions during World War II and the Cold war and hear tales about the lifestyle of those who decided to settle in the far North.

One of the highlights of this Arctic Fjord Cruise is the possibility of encountering Arctic wildlife. Keep your eyes peeled for the diversity of species that call this region home, including the magnificent sea eagles! Our expert guides will share their knowledge about the behaviours and habitats of the wildlife you encounter, ensuring an educational experience throughout the journey.

The catamaran is spacious with a comfortable, spacious lounge with panoramic windows, a big kiosk, lavatories, and several outside decks.
