Sami Culture, Northern Lights & Reindeer Visit Evening – Including Transport
Depart from the city center of Tromsø by bus and embark on this exciting evening adventure. After a 90-minute relaxing bus journey, you will enter the remote area Tamokdalen where our wilderness camp is located.
Upon arrival at Camp Tamok, you will be warmly greeted by your guide and outfitted with the essential gear including thermal suits, boots, and gloves, ensuring comfort and warmth for this Sami experience activity. This cultural adventure includes storytelling about the fascinating Sami culture and feeding of the reindeer. As we find ourselves surrounded by darkness, this evening activity might be the perfect chance for you to witness the magical northern lights. After your visit to our Sami camp, you will return to Camp Tamok where you can relax and warm up with a warm meal and drink by the open fire inside one of the lávvu (indigenous Sámi tent).
After the meal, it is time to board the bus and return to Tromsø, taking with you great memories of this authentic Arctic experience.
