Husky Mountain Hike
Join one of our friendly huskies for a peaceful mountain hike through the stunning nature surrounding the Snow Resort.
This guided experience starts with pickup from your hotel (Thon or Scandic) or you can meet directly at the Snowhotel reception. After meeting our huskies at the dog yard, you will each get to meet your husky hiking companion. Together with your guide, you will walk along the fjord and gradually make your way up a scenic trail up the mountain. The path is moderate and suitable for most of our guests. At the top, we will stop by a World War II airplane wreck, where, if the weather allows it, we will make a fire, enjoy a light snack and hot berry juice while taking in the spectacular view. Your guide will share stories about the northern wilderness, local history, and of course, our beloved huskies. After the break, we will continue the hike back down to the Snow Resort, where your driver will be ready to return you to Kirkenes - if requested.
