King Crab Safari (Winter)
Catch and taste the delicious king crab, directly from the Arctic fjord.

Your activity begins with hotel pickup in Kirkenes - upon request, or at the Snow Resort. At the dressing room behind Låven, your guide will provide you with warm clothing and safety instructions before heading out on the snowmobile sled. After a short sledding trip accross the frozen fjord, you will help pull up the crab cages, take photos with your catch, and learn about the biology and history of the King Crab in Northern Norway.
Back at the Snow Resort, your guide will prepare your catch at the unique king crab restaurant, Teina.
The crab is served Northern Norwegian style with bread, butter, mayonnaise, and lemon. Drinks such as wine, beer, or mineral water are available for purchase at the restaurant.
After the meal, your driver will return you safely to your hotel in Kirkenes.
