Guided Summer Sea Kayaking at Sommarøy
Join us for a guided sea kayaking adventure at Sommarøy, one of Northern Norway’s most beautiful island areas. Welcome to Sommarøy, a famous destination for kayaking and nature, a hotspot for locals.
Your guide will help you get ready with equipment and safety tips before we start paddling. Together, we explore quiet bays, white sandy beaches, and small islands only reachable by kayak or boat. Along the way, we may spot sea eagles and other local wildlife. We take our time to enjoy the scenery and take time to go ashore on a beach for a good break along the way. Your local guide will share stories about Sommarøy’s fishing history and everyday life as well as share knowledge about the local wildlife.
If you're interested in improving your paddling skills, just ask! We use stable double kayaks, but experienced paddlers can request a single (to be decided on spot).
